It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you to the first edition of The Methodist, our bi-monthly online newsletter dedicated to sharing the life, work, and witness of the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma. This publication marks an important step forward in strengthening communication, deepening connection, and celebrating what God is doing among us.
In a time where information moves quickly and our communities are spread across many islands and regions, this newsletter serves as a unifying platform. It allows us to remain connected as one body in Christ, sharing our stories, highlighting key events, and reflecting on the ways in which God continues to guide and sustain His Church.
As we journey together in this new season of renewal, we are reminded of our calling to move forward in faith — grounded in the Gospel and committed to the mission entrusted to us. Milestones such as the groundbreaking of the new Conference Centre and the development of educational partnerships reflect not only progress, but our collective commitment to building a strong and faithful Church for the future.
